Pétanque games to mark Bastille Day
BaM U3A French group members were kindly invited by the Franco-Scottish Society of Glasgow to join their annual pétanque games at Hillhead Sports Club in Glasgow to mark Bastille Day, 14 July. It was great fun, even if some of us were a bit confused by the rules! We finished with a delicious lunch at the club's Café Source. Also taking part were members of the French Conversation groups from Glasgow West End U3A and Strathclyde University 3L's French club.
